Cordelia is Bristol based and is a new exhibitor to the Forest of Dean
‘Cordelia's work is particularly concerned with the effects of the contrast of colour and texture.
Taking inspiration from the patterned designs of Matisse and the vibrant use of colour of John Singer Sargent.
Many of her recent works are inspired by the sea and the English seaside landscape, as a keen sailor she spends much her time on the coast.
The base coat of her canvases is always a warm cerise which gives her oil and acrylic paintings an energy and vibrancy and offers a unique character to Cordelia's work.’
