Stained Glass Class
This popular class will quickly have you designing, cutting and assembling your own stained glass creation in a friendly and supportive environment. Based on individual needs, designed for both beginners and those with some experience, the course provides an opportunity to work on personal projects and covers a range of traditional and more contemporary methods. You will learn all the basic techniques of pattern preparation, glass cutting, leading, foiling, soldering and finishing and basic decorative processes such as painting and fusing. All tools and equipment are provided and a range of glass and other materials can be bought from Caroline (initial cost around £15.00 dependent on size of panel).

We'll look at finding and developing ideas in prose fiction and life-writing, cultivating a healthy writing practice and pathways to publication. By the end of the course you'll have a writer's tool-kit of techniques, a portfolio of work, and a clear idea of how to proceed. Each week there will be a chance to workshop your writing, give and receive constructive criticism and hone your critical faculties as a writer - cultivating a professional approach to editing and submitting your work for profit or for pleasure. Learn to loosen up with the pure enjoyment of traditional Egyptian dance with Hazel Kayes. Hazel has taught dance for 13 years and teaches with a sense of fun and enjoyment. She has performed worldwide and has a dance troupe 'Haziz'. Women of all ages and body-types can learn how to isolate movements in this beautiful, feminine and sensual style. Please wear a flowing skirt or leggings, bring a scarf to wear around your hips and a bottle of water as we will work up a bit of a sweat!
